Breaking Bad Episode 2 (Cat's in the Bag)

Oh man... Now they are in trouble.

Walter and Jesse have successfully made Crystal that no one can touch in quality.  Then Jesse goes and tries to find a buyer and opts to pick the cousin of the dude who was previously working with him to make Meth and whom Jesse thought had gone to jail in the bust that Walter saw on his "ride along" with Hank.

Unfortunetly, both Krazy 8 and Emilio decide that Walter and Jesse are better off dead than partners.  In the ensuing unfortunate series of events, Walter uses phosphine gas to rid themselves of Krazy 8 and Emilio who were intent on getting Walter's recipe and then offing the two ameteurs.  The poison gas seems to get rid of the two trouble makers but soon Walter and Jesse discover that it has only killed Emilio and Krazy 8 is still, miserably, alive.

Now they have to figure out how get rid of both these guys.  They flip a coin and Jesse gets Emilio duty and Walter is supposed to finish off Krazy 8.  Obviously, Walter struggles with this and that struggle continues through to the next episode.

Walter's passive aggressive nature is starting to foam through the cracks in this episode and it is interesting and painful to watch.

Skyler is beginning to wonder why Walter is acting so strangely and keeping strange hours.  Walter tells her he has recently started smoking pot to knock her of the trail when she discovers his relationship with Jesse.  Walter still hasn't informed Skyler of the lung cancer as is still trying to work through that discovery himself.  Further, I think he knows that Skyler's maternal oppressiveness will only grow exponentially when she finds out about the cancer.

I'm not sure this blog series is doing what I want it to... Hmmm....
